This policy explains what STIKY 2 collects and why, in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and its regulations, and GDPR principles for players in the EU. Controller: Alon Saranga, alonsaranga@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Registered players: email, nickname, password (stored only as a hash), language, profile picture (if uploaded), sign-up and last login dates, verification status.
- Guests: nickname, a random guest id (in a cookie), first/last visit and number of visits.
- Everyone, while playing: connections (start/end time, room, mode), match results (kills, deaths, flags, score, wins), a coarse device/OS/browser family (e.g. "mobile/Android/Chrome"), country (if our hosting provider supplies it), and a shortened one-way hash of the IP address (not the IP itself) for abuse prevention.
- Emails: verification, password reset, and a notification to the operator on every new registration.
Why
To run the game and your account, leaderboards, security and anti-cheat, and aggregate usage statistics (how many players, when). We do not sell data. We use no advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data: while the account exists. Connection and match logs: up to 24 months, then deleted or kept only as anonymous aggregates. Guests who have not returned for 13 months are deleted.
Processors
Website hosting (uPress, Israel), game server (Hetzner, EU), and the site's email provider.
Your rights
Access, correction and deletion of your data, and objection to processing. Write to alonsaranga@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or your EU data protection authority.
Children
Under 13? Ask a parent before registering. A parent can request deletion at any time.
